Text: Ran LevyYamamori, illustrations: Hilal Hader Hamed

The true story of an Arab village in the Galilee (Northern Israel), which grew and expanded fast in the last decades. The village had a shortage of water and a growing sewage problem. The villagers made a pond where water is recycled biologically and is later used to irrigate young olive plantations.

The book is bilingual (Arabic-Hebrew) and a result of a long cooperation between the writer and the illustrator.

The illustrations in this book were in a special exhibition in Paris in 2005.
