This is a special environmental education project involving saving kestrels and children with special needs.

Each year there are numerous young kestrels who fall from nests. They are taken to rehabilitation centers and they are returned to their habitats. Some of these kestrels are used in a special project named "Flying" in schools for children with special needs. These children are feeding and taking care of the kestrels until they are able to fly and to be returned back to nature. This children, who often need attention and help from the society, are now contributing to the society, especially in activities of building nesting boxes for barn owls and kestrels and helping to spread the idea of biological pest control.

The project was conducted by Ronen Berger in cooperation with Eitam Foundation
